We visit hospitals, hospices, special needs schools and provide inspirational shows, workshops and one-to-one visits to sick and vulnerable children and young adults.
A visit from The Laughter Specialists usually lasts for 2 to 4 hours and costs around £300 per visit. We try to see as many children, their parents and carers whether in or out of bed, on the wards, in playrooms or in waiting rooms during that time and are careful not to go where we are not wanted and to follow the instructions of the hospital staff at all times.
We also offer coaching and training, talks and presentations and inspirational workshop to professional staff, entertainers, clubs, companies and individual groups.
We love what we do and that is why we would be delighted to share our skills, techniques and knowledge with groups of teachers, parents and carers in a workshop format. We can include role play, warm up games, and material to take away. Fees vary depending on what is required. Please complete a contact form should you require more detail or a quote.
Perfect for a special occasion or event, we provide entertainment for a range of different special needs.
A programme of visits is recommended for the best results, we can tailor regular visits – from once a week to once a month – which constantly build and develop interaction skills.
We are often asked to talk to groups about our work. Women’s Institute groups, Rotary clubs, Church groups, schools, lunch groups, in fact we are happy to visit any group or organisation. We always include lots of stories and demonstrate what we do with some magic and songs. We charge a fee to cover our costs and to help with funding visits to hospitals and schools.
We regularly visit various hospitals in the region, but are always wanting to expand our service and provide the entertainment and respite fun to those at other venues across East Anglia.
