Fundraising Yourself

Some of our supporters who are keen to help, often prefer to come up with their own ideas to raise money for us.
These ideas may involve getting together with people at work, at a sports club, with a group of friends, at a school or college, or choosing to just do something yourself. Whatever you decide we are always extremely grateful for your interest. We are extremely grateful  for your interest and always happy to talk through your ideas.

We are open to all ideas they can be crazy off the scale, or just a simple regular and tested way, whatever you want to do is great!

Leave a Bequest In Memory Of a Loved One...

A Legacy from you, or donations in memory of loved ones that can bring Joy and Light to children and families in some very difficult circumstances.

For my family, and the supporters who volunteer and fund this charity, their work is not a nice to have, it is a moment of magic and light in the darkness and the fear. . It can help heal, relieve, support and help see the beauty and joy of life in the most painful and difficult times.

Our son Joel had an infectious smile that could light up a room. We lost him due to complications caused by his Cerebral Palsy a few months before his 13th birthday. Throughout his short life, The Laughter Specialists were always there for him. No matter the situation, the Laughter Specialists could always bring a smile to his face. It is an extraordinary experience watching them engage him in hospital or at school. When he laughed and smiled he would forget about his disabilities. Joel was such a gift, such a blessing. He was our biggest and best adventure.

There are many children and families benefitting from this unique and skilled work and we want to ensure that it continues to support as many families as possible. We want to ensure that they too can find some peace, joy and relief in what are often impossible situations.

Donate to the Laughter Specialists

We believe a great way to do this is by leaving a gift or donation in a will, or families celebrating the life of a loved one by asking for donations to our charity in memory of them.

These gifts can fund our vital work, allowing us to make long- term commitments to support the sickest and most vulnerable children and their families. We hope that through our work the benefits of laughter will be shared more, and that we are able to hold up these families when their need is at its most prevalent. Whilst we can’t change some of the difficulties they are facing we can maybe smooth the path for a while. We can show them ways in which they can reach within themselves and just for a while forget the pain and enjoy some precious moments.
With the compassion, understanding and support of our work by those who leave gifts in their Wills, we will be able to increase the number of Laughter Specialists and continue to create some magic through the pain.

If you have any questions or concerns about leaving a gift or donating please do not hesitate to contact us.

Warmest Regards.
